Phillips, 68, died Tuesday. A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, she was the daughter of the late Elder Elzie Bryant and Thelma Bryant. She was a homemaker and member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Franklin Phillips; children, Joe Phillips and Donnie Phillips, both of Danville; brothers and sisters, Aaron Bryant, Elder Franklin Bryant, Billy Nesmith, Wallace Nesmith, Sara Rosa and Eddie Mae Carter, all of Danville, Hezykiah Bryant of Eastman, Elder Daniel Bryant of Jeffersonville, Elder Samuel Bryant of Allentown, Mary Guidry of Warner Robins, and Reaunette Ingram of Macon; and 5 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight in Fisher Funeral Home and may be contacted at the residence.
