October 5, in the Bleckley Memorial Hospital were held Friday, October 6, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Twiggs County with Elder Daniel Bryant officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Purser, a life long resident of Bleckley County, was the widow of the late John G. Purser. She was a homemaker and a member of of the Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Bleckley County. Survivors are 1 sister, Mrs Fannie N. ord of Dudley; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Billy Darsey, Bobby Nobles, Frank Lyles, Ed Allen, Billy Crutchfield, and Lawson Bryant. Mathis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
