(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net May 9, 2014, 5:46 pm The Macon Telegraph 3-6-1970 P1 Youth Dies In Fall From Car JEFFERSONVILLE --- A 16 year old Danville youth was killed Thursday afternoon on a dirt road about seven miles south of Jeffersonville when he fell off the hood of a car, according to B. H. Ennis of the Dublin State Patrol office. Randall Alvin Rozier, of Rte. 1 Danville, died in the Twiggs County Medical Center from a fractured skull and internal injuries, according to troopers' report. Joe David Sanders, about 19 of Rte. 4 Danville, was the driver of the car, according to Trooper Ennis. The youth was a junior at Twiggs County High School and was a native of Twiggs county. He was a member of Lucy Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Rozier of Danville; three sisters, Mrs. Wallace Abney, Mrs. Billy Segars, and Mrs. Don Collins, all of Warner Robins; and his grandmother, Mrs. Mitch Howell of Danville. Rozier JEFFERSONVILLE --- Services for Randall "Randy" Alvin Rozier, 16, of Danville Ste. 1, who died Thursday after being thrown from the hood of a car on a country road near Jeffersonville, will be held at 3pm Saturday in Lucy Chapel Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The youth was a junior at Twiggs County High School, where he was a member of the baseball team and of the Future Teachers of America. He was a member of Lucy Chapel Methodist Church and held an eight years perfect attendance record. He also was an usher in the church. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Rozier of Danville; three sisters, Mrs. Wallace Abney, Mrs. Billy Segars, and Mrs. Don Collins, all of Warner Robins; and his grandmother, Mrs. Mitch Howell of Danville. The body will lie in state in Fisher Funeral Home in Cochran until 2pm Saturday. The family will be in the Rozier home in Danville Rte. 1. Additional Comments: Randall was born 3 Dec 1953.
