Sauls, 54, who died Sunday in a Dublin hospital will be held at 3pm Monday at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Jones and the Rev. Luke Moncrief officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Sauls, a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church and was a retired civil service employee. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Melba Chance Sauls; two sons, , Clyde E. Sauls and John H. Sauls, both of Danville; two daughters, Mrs. Ed Smith of Danville and Mrs. Bill Glisson of Eastman; mother, Mrs. Mina Sauls of Danville; five sisters, Mrs. Tom Fowler and Mrs. David Rickerson, both of Danville, Mrs. Doyle Stone and Mrs. Glen Hasty, both of Jeffersonville, and Mrs. James Floyd of Montrose; and five grandchildren. The body will lie in state at the family residence until the funeral hour. Townsend Funeral Home of Dublin is in charge of arrangements.
