The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00P.M., Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M., Friday, March 12, 2004, graveside at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Danville, with Rev. Rod Callahan officiating. -Ms. Sims was born June 16, 1947, in Danville, to the late W. O. Sims, Sr. and Zola Fowler Sims. She had lived in Jones County for the past seven years, having previously lived in Macon. Ms. Sims was a production worker for Tom's Foods for twenty-three years and was currently working with Crown Candy Company. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. -Ms. Sims is survived by her mother, Zola Sims of Jones County; brothers, William O. Sims, Jr., of Macon, and William Lee Sims of Jones County; sister, Eva June Davis of Chester; and by several nieces and nephews and one very special great niece, Miss Karlee White of Bonaire. -The family may be contacted at the residence at 2014 Highway 18 East in Jones County. -Bridges Funeral Home in Gray has charge of arrangements.
