                            Hattie Lou Lamb Spears
Spears--Mrs. Hattie L. Spears, 74, wife of W. E. Spears of 3438 Wesconnett 
Blvd. died Thursday at a local hospital following a short illness. Mrs. Spears 
was born in Twiggs County, Georgia and had lived in Jacksonville 12 years. She 
was a member of the Wesconnett Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, 
W. E. Spears, Wesconnett; three daughters, Mrs. T. C. Burch, Jacksonville 
Beach, Mrs. Joe E. Winburn, Jacksonville, and Mrs. John B. Witt, Key West; two 
sons, J. A. Spears and J. R. Spears, both of Jacksonville; seven 
grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. A. W. Nobles, Cordele, Ga.; two brothers, 
Freeman Lamb, Cochran, Ga. and Marion Lamb, Macon, Ga. Funeral will be at 1pm 
Friday in the Giddens Riverside Chapel, 116 Riverside Ave., with the Rev. 
Philip E. Taylor, pastor of the Wesconnett Baptist Church officiating. The 
interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joe 
Windburn, Brooks Herman, Theo Burch, Nicholas Fascello, J. T. Farmer, and 
Barry McDonald. The Westconnett Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star will 
conduct services at the graveside. Giddens Riverside Funeral Home is in charge.

Additional Comments:
Hattie was born 22 Aug 1883 to John Richmond Lamb and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" 
Partin Lamb.
