Edmond Stevens

Cochran - Funeral services for Edmund R. Stevens, 86, of Rte 1, Jeffersonsville,
who died Friday Morning in a Cochran nursing home will be held Saturday at 3pm
in Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

The Rev. Kenneth Walker and the Rev. A.T. Faircloth will officiate Burial will
be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stevens was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, a retired farmer and a
member of Mt. Zion church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Callie Lee Spears Stevens of Cochran; one son,
Wilbur J. Stevens of Sarasota Fl, three grandchildren, one brother, R. ? Stevens
of Danville, several nieces and nephews.

The body will be at Fisher Funeral until 2 p.m. Saturday.

Additional Comments:
Edmond R. Stevens, born 2-6-1881 and died 3-3-1967 is buried at Mt. Zion Baptist
Church Cemetery. 
 
 
His wife, Callie Lee Spears Stevens later died on 7-15-1975 in De Soto County
Florida. I do not have her obituary yet as to where she is buried.
