Laura J. (maiden name Holliday) Stevens was born 10-19-1894 and died 9-30-1978
(GA DC# 031393) and is buried at mt. Zion Cemetery in twiggs County. Her
husband, Mathew Hayden Stevens Sr., is also buried there.

 Mrs. Laura Stevens

DANVILLE---Services for Mrs. Laura Holliday Stevens, who died Saturday in a
Bleckley County hospital, will be held at 3PM today in Danville Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County.
Mrs. Stevens, a native of Twiggs County, was a charter member of Danville
Methodist Church and a Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include a son, M. H. Stevens Jr. of Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Laura
Mae Stevens Dominy of Danville; four sisters, Mrs. Annie H. Findley of Macon,
Mrs. Alva H. Arnold of Danville; Mrs. Myrtle H. Faulk and Mrs. E. H. Faulk, both
of Jeffersonville; two brothers, M. B. Holliday of Jeffersonville and John
Holliday of Irwinton; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Townsend Brothers Funeral Home in Dublin is in charge of arrangements.
