Rowland Lee Stevens was born 10-6-1887 and died  9-30-1972 (GA DC# 030812) and
is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County. His parents, Edward Newton
Stevens and Faithey Lee Stevens, are both buried in the Lee Cemetery in Twiggs
County.

Rowland Stevens

DUBLIN--Rowland L. Stevens, 84, died Saturday in a local nursing home. Services
will be Sunday at 5PM in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with burial in the church
cemetery.
Mr. Stevens was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, a deacon of the Mt. Zion
Baptist Church, and choir director of his church. He was a retired merchant in
Danville.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Allie Grimsley Stevens; a daughter, Mrs. Christine
Stevens Duggan of Albany; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Townsend Funeral Home is in charge.
