Lon Thompson was born 8-30-1866 and died 7-7-1948 (GA DC# 16079) and is buried
in the Fowler Family Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Lon Thompson

DANVILLE, July 8---Lon Thompson, 83, died at his home near Danville, following a
long illness.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Mary Fowler; four daughters, Miss
Nellie Thompson, Mrs. H. G. Nobles,Danville, Mrs. C. H. Howell, Montrose, and
Mrs, Henry Hamm, Dry Branch; three sons, Henry Alvin Thompson, Linton Thompson,
Danville, and Lonnie Thompson, Macon; 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the residence at 11AM today. Burial was in Fowler
Cemetery.
