Mr. Williams was born in Meriwether County, son of Mr. and Mrs. Duke Williams and had made his home in Macon for 10 years, coming from Danville. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Nellie Howell of Macon; two sons, H. M. Williams of Macon and L. E. Williams with the US Army at Fort Benning, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. P. W. Wood of Lake Wales, Fla. and Mrs. R. B. Coleman of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Gus Williams of Ellaville and C. D. Williams of Tazewell, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar Smith of Greenville and Mrs. Ernest Lee of LaGrange. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 3pm Wednesday. Interment will be in Macon Memorial Park. Additional Comments: Edward was born abt 1877. Georgia death certificate #10378. His wife, Nellie Howell Williams Young is also buried at Macon Memorial Park.
