Howard Lee "H. L." Williams was born 2-7-1925 and died 3-18-2001 and is buried
at the Williams Cemetery in Twiggs County.

TWIGGS COUNTY - Services for Howard Lee "H.L." Williams will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Mathis Funeral Home, Cochran, with burial in Williams Family
Cemetery, Twiggs County. Williams, 76, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at his home.
A native of Jeff Davis County, he was the son of the late Eschol H. and Lena W.
Williams. The widower of Kathleen Ray Williams, he had lived in Twiggs County
for 36 years. A farmer, he was a Baptist and a retired school bus driver for
Twiggs County. 
Survivors include his sons William K. Jones of Jeffersonville and Earl Williams
of Cochran; daughter Janie Bollinger of Cochran; brothers Robert T. Williams of
Keysville and Jewel Williams of Saco, Maine; sister Lilawease Broxton of
Thomson; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 
The family will receive friends form 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. The
family may be contacted at the home of Earl and Kathy Williams, Route 4,
Elshirath Church Road, Cochran.
