Willis, was found dead early this morning behind the garage in the back yard of her home. A coroner's jury headed by Coroner E. E. Chappell, today gave a verdict of "death by self-inflicted pistol wounds". Mrs. Willis is survived by three sons, William Rooks and Ernest Rooks, Griffin and Earl Rooks, Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas E. Vickery, Indian Springs, Ga.; three brothers, W. C. Bozeman, Cecil Bozeman, and C. L. Bozeman, all of Griffin; five sisters, Mrs. Jule Henson, Griffin, Mrs. Dewy Green, Griffin, Mrs. Roosevelt Cole, Macon, Mrs. R. S. Manning, Cochran, and Mrs. Melitus Jones, Cochran; and her mother, Mrs. C. H. Bozeman, of Cochran. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Haisten brothers Funeral Home. Additional Comments: Alma was born 10 Sep 1907 to Charles Hooks Bozeman and Henrietta Howell Bozeman, both are buried at Lucy Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Danville, Twiggs County, Ga. Alma is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Spalding County, Ga. Georgia death certificate #14255. Her first husband was Carl J. Rooks.
