Virginia (maiden name Howell) Wilson was born 12-28-1914 and died 4-24-1997. Her
husband, William Homer Wilson, born 8-25-1924 and died 7-27-2004 is also buried
there.

Rome. Services for Virginia Howell Wilson will be at 3pm Sunday in Fisher
Funeral Home, Cochran, with burial in Lucy Chapel Cemetery, Twiggs County. 
Wilson, 82, died Thursday in a Rome hospital.  Born in Bleckley County, she was
the daughter of the late John S. and Nellie Howell.  She had lived in Rome the
past 33 years.

Survivors include her husband, William Homer Wilson; son, Clyde G. Hunt of Rome;
brother and sisters, Jimmy J. Howell of Cochran, Thelma Lee Mixon of Macon and
Corine Ryder of Toppenish, Wash; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 unti 8 tonight in the funeral home and
may be contacted at the residence of Jimmy Howell, Highway 112.
