Selma L. (maiden name Carter) Wood was born 10-27-1924 and died 12-18-1994 (GA
DC# 055063) and is buried at Mt. Zion in Twiggs County. Her parents, Zerunia R.
"Zee" Carter and Lillie Bell Lucas Carter, are also buried there.

 Selma C. Wood

DANVILLE---Selma C. Wood, 70, of Route 1, died Sunday in a Macon hospital. Born
in Twiggs County, she was the daughter of the late Z. R. and Lillie Bell Lucas
Carter. She had lived in Warner Robins and Macon before moving back to Twiggs
County 20 years ago. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the Adult
Ladies Sunday School Class. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base.
Survivors: several nieces and nephews. Services: 3PM Tuesday in Mt. Zion Baptist
Church. Burial: church cemetery. The Revs. Jeff Slaughter and Paul Jones will
officiate. Visitation: The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and
Mrs. Johnny Floyd, Ball Park Road, Jeffersonville. The family will receive
friends from 7 until 9 tonight in Fisher Funeral Home.
