She was a consistent Christian, a loving mother and a devoted wife. Her lovely disposition and Christian character, endeared her to all that knew her, and she died as she had lived, trusting in her Saviour. She leaves behind her a husband, six children and many friends to mourn her loss. Therefore, the Ladies Aid Society of Cross Roads church, testify their appreciation of Sister Richards in the following resolutions: 1. In her death, we have lost a zealous laborer. That we deeply deplore our loss, and truly sympathize with the bereaved family, and pray that they may meet her in the "beautiful beyond." 2. That while we mourn our loss, we believe it is her eternal gain, and we are admonished to be likewise ready. 3. That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family of the deceased, and that a copy be sent to the Christian Index for publication.
