May 16, 1902. His wife was Lucinda ? Ross b. Nov. 16, 1840 (Monroe Co) and d. Apr. 28th 1919. I was unable to obtain a death certificate on either of these. I was however able to get a death certificate on their daughter Elizabeth Ross who married Samuel Gray Ingram. They are also buried in the Salem Cemetery. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Ross Ingram was b. in 1881 (Pike) and died in Nov. 30, 1930 at the age of 57 years. Residence at the time of her death was Barnesville, GA. Undertaker was Jordan ? Co. in Barnesville, GA. Father of James was Robert Ross who married Elizabeth Watkins in Upson Co. GA in May 6, 1827. Robert was born in NC in 1800 and Elizabeth was born in GA in abt. 1805. The children of James and Lucinda Ross are: (these are taken from the census records.) Francis b. 1860 female Tida J b. 1867 female E. Robert b. 1868 male Annie b. 1870 female Lizzie b. 1872 female Ola b. 1875 female William b. 1877 male Henry b. 1879 male Homer b. 1880 male Pearl b. 1881 female Nettie b. 1886 female On the 1900 census, Unionville Dist. Near Yatesville Upson Co GA it has: James Ross b. Dec. 1836 Miller (married 42 years) Lucinda b. Jan. 1842 keeping house Lizzie b. Jan 1873 dau. Ola b. Jan 1875 dau Willie(William) b. Jan. 1877 son Homer b. Apr 1880 son Pearl b. Mar 1881 dau Nettie b. May 1886 dau There is also another grave in that same plot. James Ross Ingram....b. 1907 and d. 1949. Not sure how he is related. His tombstone says "Brother". Birth locations indicated on the death certificate of Elizabeth Ross Ingram. Two sons Homer Edgar Ross b. 1880-1943 is buried in a cemetery in Upson Co. (maybe) Emory's Chapel Church Cemetery. (the info I got this from said "maybe". I do not know where this cemetery is. By the way, I live in Longview, WA. Second son ...Charlie R. Ross b. 17 Sept. 1868 d. 6 May 1931 is buried in the Culloden City Cemetery on Church Street behind United Methodist Church
