Cox, acting as clerk of Ebenezer Church and his successors in office, for esteem and affection, 2.5 acres of LL313 1st Dist. (southeast corner of Upson 2 miles east of Hootenville) (near Auchumpkee Creek) John Dickey, Samuel Bentley, and others served this Primitive Baptist Church. No further records exist. LOCATION: Southeast Upson County near Crawford County border. Chatfield Road is betweem US 80 and Wilmont Mill Road. Cemetery is on east side of Chatfield Road. She is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, Georgia, along with her daughters Nancy Edmondson Brown and Mary Edmondson Brown, wives of J. W. Brown's sons Henry and Junius who are buried with them in Americus. Martha Brown, born 1794, is John W. Brown's mother, not wife.
