The Cemetery is on right side of the road several hundred yards. William Worthy "Father" 2/9/1784- 7/12/1870 (husband of Mary Respess Worthy) Mary Worthy "Mother" 3/8/1793- 10/7/1871 (wife of William Worthy) (daughter of Richard Respess, older Sister of Nathan Respess) Stone with the letters M.W. (No date) (This was the grave of Mary Respess/Worthy ) Stone with 2 graves with initials on one, W.W. (No dates) (This was the grave of William Worthy) The other grave: America Worthy the young Daughter of William and Mary NOTES: Child named Brooks Children of William and Mary Respess /Worthy John H Worthy Martha P Worthy Mary F Worthy Leonard C Worthy America Worthy Thomas R Worthy William Henry F Worthy Of note***** Not too far from the Worthy Cemetery is a Black Cemetery...containing the grave stone of Peter Worthy B: 1828 and his wife Matilda.
