This indenture made this the second day of March in the year of our Lord
eighteen hundred and thirty-two between Charles Allen of said state and county
aforesaid of the one part and Isaac B. Deavours of state and county aforesaid of
the other part.
	Witnesseth, that the said Isaac B. Deavours for and in consideration of the sum
of one hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand will and truly paid at or before
the sealing and delivery of this indenture, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hath bargained sold and delivered granted and conveyed and by these
presents do bargain grant sell and convey unto the said Charles Allen fifty
acres of land, more or less, of the number forty-three in the northeast corner
of said number forty-three now in Upson county formerly of the county of Houston
-- seventeenth district of said county. To have and to hold said parcel of land
to wit fifty acres unto him the said Charles Allen, his heirs and assigns
together with all and singular the right and profit unto and improvement
hereunto I belonging to have and to hold forever, defend the said parcel or ??
of land unto him the said Charles Allen, his heirs and assigns against himself
the said Deavours and all other persons whatever.
	In testimony whereof he the said Isaac B. Deavours has hereunto set his hand
and seal this day and year above written indenture and ??? before
