Deed book B- 567 On December 7, 1833 Edward D. Alfried deeded to Obediah C. Gibson 202 1/2 acres in Land Lot No. 218 of the 10th District of upson Co., Ga. Land Lot No. 218 is Located in the South east part of the City of Thomaston. C-310 On August 10, 1835 Obediah C. Gibson deeded to Benjamin W. Clark 285 acres being part of Land lots 218 and 191 of the 10th District. Benjamin W. Clark lived in the Baron House (see Deed Boo D-281) but who built the house has not been determined. D-58 On January 11, 1837 Benjamin W. Clark deeded to Samuel S Crute for $800 the house and 10 acres of land as shown on plat dated December 10, 1936 which shows house. In June of the same year Benjamin W. Clark sold to Samuel S. Crute a lane 12 feet wide from near Crute's house to the gate of the Methodist Church. D-281 On January 11, 1837 Benjamin W. Clark sold the balance of the land to Simeon Rogers. At this time Benjamin Clark moved to Russell County, Alabama. He later came back to Upson. E-223 On March 24, 1840 Samuel S. Crute deeded the house and property including the lane to William D. Woodson for $650 being described as the same that Benjamin Clark Owned. F-215 On December 14, 1843 Thomas Thweatt deeded to Obedian C. Gibson as Trustee for Elizabeth W. Collier the house and lot where Thomas Thweatt lives with the description being the same as previous deeds. Price $600. G-234 On november 24, 1849 Obediah C. Gibson as trustee for Elizabeth W. Collier deeded the house and land to John Thompson for $500. A petition was made to the october 1847 term of Superior court of Upson County, Ga. by Obediah C. Gibson stating that Elizabeth Collier became the owner to save an uncertain debt and that she had rented teh house to James W. Green. The court gave permission to sell and she intered into a contract to Green. G-534 This Contract was trandferred to John Thompson and teh above deed along with a quit claim deed from green was made. The description was the house Green now lives and previous description. G-534 On July 6, 1850 John Thompson deeded to Davis T. Richardson the house and 10 acreas desribed as the place where John Thomspon lives and previous description. Price $800 H-466 On July 6, 1858 Sheriff Abner Abecrombie on Writ of fierifaeous issued by the Inferior Court sold to Nathan Repass at Public outcry the huse and lot where Davis Richardson lives being 11 acres. Same description as above. Price $505. I-276 On July 9, 1863 Nathan Repress sold to Charles Wilson as trustee for Martha F. Wilson and children the house and lot being described as the place where Richardson lived and refers to deed from Simeon Rogers to Davis T. Richardson defining the right of way of the Lane. (Deed Not of Record) J-629 On January 12, 1874 the commissioners of the court (minutes of Superior Court November 1873) sold at Public outcry the above land and other land to William T. Cowles. Described as the place where Davis Ricjardson and Charles Wilson lived. Price $2000. J-630 On the same day William T. Cowles deed the above lands to richard Riviere. Price $2000. M-156 On December 6, 1881 Richard Riviere deed the house and land to Sterling C. Pritchard Price $1800. N-80 On November 21,1882 Sterling C. Pritchard deeded to robert L. Trussell 20 acres of land which included the house and land to the Methodist Church. Price $1100. S-506- On April 3, 1888 J. T. Foster Sheriff of upson Co. sold at public outcry on writ of fi fa from the Superior Court the house and land. (The writ came out of a suit between Chaney and Trussell) A. J. Chaney bought the house and land for $1000. It was described as the place where Charles Wilson lived and Robert Trussell lived. S-510 On April 1890 A.J. Chaney deeded to Issac C. McCrary as trustee of A. J. Cheney McCrary, a grand nephew of A. J. Cheney, the house and other land being described as the Charles Wilson Place. Good Description. 1-194 On December 10, 1892 Issac C. McCrary deed the house and 10 acres to Sidney Barron for $1050. (known as Charles Wilson Place) A.J. Cheney McCrary died as an infant and the land reverted back to Issac. 77-444 On May 19, 1938 the Barron Heirs (J. B., Mrs. Nadine F. Barron and Mrs. Clyde Williams) deeded the house and a lot to Mrs. Addie Lee Trice. Proce $1100. (Known as the S. K. Barron homeplace) The acreage had been divided into lots and sold by Mr. Barron. 220-394 On August 14, 1971 James Truman Trice deeded his interest in the estate of Mrs. Addie Lee trice to Mrs. Mattilu Trice Woodson & Mrs. Ruth Trice Currie.
