Upson County, Georgia

This indenture made and entered into this the fourteenth day of January eighteen
hundred and thirty five between James Blalock of the one part and James F. White
of the other part both of the county state above written.  Witnessed that the
said James Blalock for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars
to him is paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted,
bargained, sold and conveyed to the said James White his heirs and assigns a
certain tract or parcel of land situated lying in the tenth district of former
Monroe County now Upson County having the west half of lot number three in the
said district containing one hundred and one and a half acres more or less.  To
have and to hold said tract or bargained possession of said land
James F. White, his heirs and assigns and administrators.
And the said James Blalock for himself, his heirs and assigns will warrant and
defend forever the right and title thereof against himself and against the
claims of all other persons whichever is witness whereof the said James Blalock
hath here unto set his hand and seal the day and date above written,
