White of the same state and county of Bibb of the other part. Witnessed that the said Joseph Duke for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, and conveyed and does by these receipts grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto this said Andrew J. White, his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the tenth district of originally Monroe now Upson County known and distinguished in the place of said district as the east half of Lot number three containing one hundred acres more or less with all the rights, members, and appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the aforesaid lot of land unto him the said Andrew J. White his heirs and assigns together with all the rights, members and appurtenances to the said lot of land in any wise belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said Joseph Duke himself, his heirs, executors, and administrators the said bargain premises together with the rights, title, possession thereof unto the said Andrew J. White, his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof the said Joseph Duke hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written. Joseph Duke Signed, sealed and delivered in presence of Elizabeth A. Duke Anderson B. Duke A. L. Allen Upson County, Georgia Personally came before me Anderson B. Duke who being duly sworn deposith and saith that he saw Joseph Duke sign, seal, and deliver this written deed for the ??? therein ?? that he signed the same as a witness and saw Elizabeth Duke and A.
