Georgia }} Fayette County }} This Indenture made this Fourteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and Twenty six Between Josiah M. Lyons of the State and County aforesaid on the one part and Matthew Caldwell and Elizabeth Caldwell Admrs of the Estate of David Caldwell decd, Both of County of Upson and State aforesaid Wittnesseth that for and in Consideration of the sum of Three hundred dollars to him the Said Lyons in hand paid at and before the Sealing of these presents the Receipt whereof is duly acknowledged hath this day bargained and Sold and Executed and do by these presents bargain Sell and release unto the Said, above mentioned administrators all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Monroe formerly now Upson Known by Lot 180 in Said Dist containing Two hundred Two and a half acres 2021/2 more or less To have and to hold all the aforesaid Land and premises to there own propert use benefit and behoofs in fee simple and I the Said Lyons do warrant and forever defend the title thereof to and from the Claim of myself my heirs and assigns and from the Claim of all others present whatsoever -- In Testamony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above written.
