Indenture bet Margaret McHargue and G.W. Ruffin 15 Apr 1893 Upson Co, GA This Indenture made this the 15th day of April 1893, between MARGARET M. McHARGUE and H.J. McHargue and G.W. RUFFIN all of said county and state. Witnesses that the said Margaret and H.J. McHargue for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy Five Dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby sell and convey unto the said GW Ruffin his heirs and assings, their interest in a certain tract of land situated in the county aforesaid to wit Upson 15th District of originally Monroe now Upson County containing 50 acres more or less and known as the Widow RUFFIN place and bounded as follows: on the East by lands of Wm McGraw. South by by lands of James Ellenbee, West by lands of Dr. W.A. Means, North by land of estate of Caroline Kersey-- together with all (and singular) the rights and privileges thereto belonging in fee simple. And the said Margaret and H.J. McHargue, their heirs and administrators and executors the title to the premises aforesaid will forever warrant and defend to the said G.W. RUFFIN, his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all other persons. In witness whereof the said margaret & H.J.
