__ of Daniel Grant one thousand dollars which is in
full and complete payment for a certain lot of Negro’s
consisting of a woman Jane & her five children which
Negro’s I do hereby warrant & forever defend the right
& title of said Negro’s unto the said Grant his heirs
and __ and from the claim or claims of all and every
other person or persons in witness where of I have
hereto set my hand & seal
