This indenture made and entered into this twenty sixth day of December in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four between James F.
White of the county and state aforesaid of the one part and Elizabeth White of
the same place of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said James F. White for
and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid at
and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and do by these
presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Elizabeth White, her
heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in
the tenth district of Upson County, formerly Monroe County, known and
distinguished by lot number three containing one hundred one and a quarter
acres, it being the west half of said number three.
To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Elizabeth
White, her heirs and assigns forever in fee simple.  And the said James F. White
for himself, his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and
title thereof against the claims of himself and against the claims of all other
persons whatever.  In witness, whereof, the said James F. White hath hereunto
set his hand and seal the day and year above written.
