White Indenture to White Family for Will Upson County, Georgia December 28, 1846 Deed Book F page 530 Document 6 This indenture made the twenty eighth day of December, eighteen hundred and forty-six between James F. White of the county of Macon in the state of Alabama, John M. White of said county of Upson, Reuben H. White of the county of Bibb, Henry Garland, Junior in right of his wife Sarah, Thomas J. Allen in right of his wife Elizabeth Emily (now deceased) and Peter J. Harris in right of his wife Sabrina (??) Harris, the said Peter and Henry of the county of Upson and the said Thomas J. of Pike all of the one part and Andrew J. White of the county of Bibb of the other part; witnesseth that the said James F., John M., Reuben H., Henry, Thomas J. and Peter J. in consideration that the said Andrew J. White hath this day paid to each of us separately our full and separate shares in the remaining undivided balance of property belonging to the estate of Reuben White deceased late of Elbert County, Georgia that is --- at this date in the hands of Elizabeth White of Upson County, to wit the sum of six hundred and forty-three dollars and sixty-five cents to each of us (and which we allow and believe to be more than would --- by due upon a close settlement) the said James F., John M., Reuben H., Henry, Thomas J., and Peter J. have this day granted, bargained, sold, and conveyed and doth by these presents grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said Andrew J. White his heirs, assigns, executors and administrators all our claims, interest, rights, and title in and to the west half of Lot number three in the tenth district of originally Monroe County now Upson County -- the east half of Lot number thirty-seven in the same district, eight negroes (sic) Aaron, a man about fifth years old; Larkin, a man about thirty-eight years of age; Billy, a man about thirty-six years old; Isabel, a woman fifty-eight years of age; Sophia, a woman forty-two years old; Lucy, a woman forty-two years of age; and Burrell, a boy about eight years old; and George, a boy about five years old; four mules, and four horses; household and kitchen furniture, stock of cattle and hogs, farm utensils, lot of pork, corn, fodder, oats and wheat and all of which are at the plantation of said Elizabeth and Andrew J. and more m…tely specific in her deed to him of this date. To have and to hold the said tracts or parcels of land together with all and singular the rights, members, and appurtenances therewith belonging or in any wise appertaining and all our interests, rights, or title to and to the same and the said personal property herein mentioned unto his /// the said Andrew J.
