While looking through a January  1881 edition of the Thomaston Times I found this 
article.

It talks about Mr. W. J. Zorn 's Plantation


On December the 18 ( 1881 ) last on the plantation of Mr. W. J. Zorn in this 
County There was a difficulty between Two colored women Mandy Walker and Mattie 
Bell in which fracas Mandy Walker received injuries and .........Died at the 
hands of Mattie Bell......
