M. Barker Co. A 46th Ga. Reg't, GA. Vols., C. S. A. Camp 1480 Filed June 26, 1905 Feb. 24, 1905 To The United Daughters Of The Confederacy. The undersigned, residing in Upson Co. Ga. Who is an ex-Confederate soldier, and a member of camp 1480 U.C. Vs. hereby, at your request, presents this Certificate of Eligibility for a Confederate Cross of Honor. He entered the service of the Confederate States on the 1st day of March 1862, as a PRIVATE in Company A of the 46th GA. Regiment of Ga. Volunteers C.S.A. and was at that time a resident of UPSON County. He was honorably discharged by CLOSE OF THE WAR on the 26, Day of April 1865, at which time he held rank of PRIVATE.
