John M.Greene was mustered in Co.D 13tg GA
Reg.Vols.in July 1861 at Griffin GA.,in 1862 John
was transferd to the GA 32nd Reg. and served as the
Chaplain until he was disabled.

Additional Comments: John Miles Greene  was married
to Mary Colquitt.Mary was a teacher and John was a
Principle at the Male Academy in Thomaston.John was
also a author of a book called "Prose &
Poetry".John& Mary moved to Cass County Texas in
1881,John died there on Nov.25,1904 Mary died there
in 1908.
