A, 46th GA Reg't, Georgia Vols., C. S. A. Camp No. 1480 Filed April 1, 1907 (Note: Buried at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cem. Triune Mill Road) April 1st 1907 To The United Daughters Of The Confederacy. The undersigned, residing at Thomaston, Upson Co. Ga. Who is an ex-Confederate soldier, but not a member of any camp, hereby, at your request, presents this Certificate of Eligibility for a Confederate Cross of Honor. He entered the service of the Confederate States on the 8th day of May 1861, as a Private in Company A of the 46th Ga. Reserves Regiment of the Upson Volunteers He was honorably discharged from service by Captain Gillis, on the 26th, Day of April 1865, at which time he held rank of PRIVATE.
