Strong, Judge of the Superior Court of the Flint Circuit and County of Upson and State of Georgia aforesaid Daniel Parker a resident of the county of Upson and State of Georgia aforesaid, aged seventy three years and nine monthys who being first duly sworn recording, to law doth on his oath make the following declarationin order to obtain the benefits of the act of Congrss passed June 7th 1832. That he entired the service of the United States under the following named officers and served as herein stated. That he entered the services as a private in the Horse Company at Chatham Courthouse North Carolina on the 15th day of September 1780, under Command of Captain Mark Patterson way attached to Colonel Thmas Taylor's Regiment, that he remained a member of said company two months and that he afterward served as a private in the Horse Comapny of Willim Griffin attached to the Regiment under Cammand of Col. Ramay, P. remained a member of the said company three months for which term he entered the service when he recieved a discharge, that he was a resident of Chatham County, North Carolina when he entered the service. That he entered the first term for three months but in -------of his furnishing a horse he was only required to serve two months. He hereby relinquishs any claim whateverannity, except the present and declares that his name is not on the pension roll anther agency of any state.
