Oct. 29-- L. J. Gregory and Dr. W. C. Bryant will go on trial in Recorder's Court Monday on Charges of cheating and swindling growing out of the exhibition of the forms of an Indian Woman and Child which were reported to have been unearthed at Indian Springs, GA. Physicians who examined X-ray pictures made of the so- called 'mummies' said the internal organs appeared to be nails, wood and scraps of metal. A fee was charged for admission to the exhibit, authorities who brought the charges against Gregory and Bryant said, A maximum penalty of one year on the chain gang and a fine of $1000 is provided under the statues for conviction on cheating and swindling charges.
