JARRELL KILLS PARROT MONDAY NIGHT

Monday night about three o'clock George JARRELL shot and
killed Raymond Parrot on the Streets of East Thomaston.
Both were residents of that Village. The killing occurred
after a party of which the two principles were members
had been drinking for some hours, it is said.  Jarrell
had been beaten up by someone.  He blamed Parrot with it
and went to his residence, secured a single barrel shot
gun, returned to the scene and shot Parrot through the
heart.

Jarrell was arrested and placed in Upson Co. jail to
await trial in Upson Superior Court in February.

Both of the men are comparatively young. Parrot had a
wife but Jarrell is said to be single.
