Venice Matthews Adams
Funeral services for Mrs. Venice Matthews Adams, 63, of Molena will be held 
Tuesday, May 31, 1983 at 11 a.m. in Mountain View Baptist Church with the Rev. 
Rex King and Rev. Ross Minton officiating.  Pasley-Fletcher Home will be in 
charge of the arrangements.  Entombment will be in Upson Memorial Gardens.
A native of Rock Mills, Ala., Mrs. Adams died in her residence, at 700 Smyrna 
Church Road on Sunday, May 29.  She had lived in Upson County for the past 45 
years.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Sara Ann Matthews of Molena, her husband, 
Mr. Robert Eschol Adams, of Molena, two daughters;  Mrs. Ed Arrington of 
Thomaston, Mrs. Paul Parker of Molena, two sons;  Mr. Robert E. Adams, Jr., of 
Thomaston, Mr. Gary L. Adams of Molena, two sisters;  Mrs. Jack L. Ard of 
Molena, Mrs. Kenneth Adams of Meansville, and one brother, Mr. Eddie L. 
Matthews also of Molena.  Eight grandchildren also survive.
