Mr. George Atwater Dead.
Mr. George E. Atwater died in Atlanta Wednesday of last week at Wesley Memorial 
following an operation, he having been carried there sometime previous for 
treatment.  His body was brought to Thomaston and buried in Glenwood Cemetery 
Friday, the funeral being conducted by Rev. R.M. Dixon.
Mr. Atwater's home was a few miles from Thomaston and he was well known in this 
community.  He was about 60 years of age and is survived by his wife and two 
children, Martha and --lter(this side of the page was copied too close to the 
one next to it and could not read a lot of the words on the left side)
The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church. His relatives have the 
sympathy of the people of the community in their sorrow.
