Mrs. Ruth Cleveland Arnold

Mrs. Ruth Cleveland Arnold, 95, of Manchester, died
Friday morning, January 23, 1987, at Providence
Nursing Home here in Thomaston.  Funeral services
were held Sunday, January 25, at 9:30 at Thomaston’s
Church of Christ.

The Rev. Miles Busbee officiated, assisted by the
Revs. Bennie Barfield and Charles Shelnu.  Burial
was held in Upson Memorial Gardens.  Cox Funeral
Home of Mancheter was in charge of arrangements.
Arnold was a native of Tiff County.  She lived in
Manchester for 17 years and was a retired employee
from the Textile Industry. She is survived by two
sons:  Mr. Dewey Arnold of Manchester and Mr.
Kenneth Arnold of Greenville, Fla., daughter, Mrs.
Ruth Collier of Clover, S. C.  Nineteen
grandchildren and 30 great grand children also
survive.
