Mark Reginald Blackmon

Thomaston..Death claimed Mark Reginald Blackmon, age
17, of Route 2, Barnesville Road, on Friday
afternoon.  Mr. Blackmon was dead on arrival at the
emergency room of the Upson County Hospital of
injuries received in an automobile accident on
Barnesville Road.  

Funeral services were held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. from
Emory’s Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. L. S.
Anthony and the Rev. Doyle Turkett officiating.
Burial was in Emory’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery
with Coggins Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Blackmon was an Upsonian all his life.
Survivors include his parents, Mrs. Carolyn Blackmon
and Mr. John Blackmon, of Thomaston, four brothers: 
Carlton Blackmon, Wayne Blackmon, Randy Blackmon,
and Chirs Blackmon, all of Thomaston, and a sister,
Mrs. Diane Carr of Thomaston.
