BOYT DEAD Mr. F.M. Boyt was born October 14, 1830 in Upson County, Georgia, and died September 6, 1907 at Waymanville GA and was buried Sunday, September 8, 1907 at Bethlehem church, Elder W.W. Childs conducting the funeral services. Many friends attended the burial. The following named children survive him: Mr. W.G. Boyt, Mr. J.T. Boyt, Mrs. John G. Fowler, Mrs. Wiley Kendricks, Mrs. Terry Daniel, Mrs. W.G. Starling, Mrs. Oscar Kelley, Mrs. Jesse Kelley, Mrs. Nannie Hardage and a step daughter, Mrs. Emily Wheeless. Uncle Frank as he was familiarly called in January 1862, first enlisted and served for six months in Womble's company of Nunnaly's regimetn and Walker's brigade and afterweards enlisted and served in Company F - 9th Regiment Georgia Reserves. He was a good citizen and neighbor, a faithful friend and a kind father. He suffered long without mumuring and he said to his devoted daughter who patiently waited on him that he was not afriad to die. He is free from pain and suffering and is at rest.
