Death Claims Robert Boyt

Funeral services for Robert  L. Boyt, 76, were held
Saturday, January 9, 1982 at the Silvertown Baptist
Church with Rev. R. B. McCard officiating.  Burial
was in new Hope Church Cemetery in Yatesville with
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.

Mr. Boyt, a retired section man in the Weave Room of
B.F. Goodrich Textile Products, Martha Mills, died
Thursday night January 7 at the Upson County
Hospital.  He resided at 259 DeLuxe Circle and was a
native Upsonian.  Mr. Boyt was a member of the
Silvertown Baptist Church. Survivors include two
daughters:  Mrs. Virginia Rule, Oak Ridge, Tenn.,
Mrs. Jeanette Perry, one sister, Mrs. Flossie
Herndon, three Brothers:  E. W., Louie and Herbert,
all of Thomaston.   Five grandchildren and six great
grandchildren also survive.
