Bridgman Sr. (1986) Mr. Earl N. Bridgman Sr., 90, of 509 West Gordon St, died Tuesday morning June 10th at the Upson County Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 12, 1986 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Elder Pat Denton and Elder Charlie D. McClendon will officiate. Burial will be held in South View Cemetery. Pasley- Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bridgman was a native of Liberty County, Ga. He had been a resident of Upson County for 54 years. Mr. Bridgman retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier and was an army veteran of World War 1. He was a member and deacon of Emmaus Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Bridgman is survived by four sons: Lt. Col.(retired) Earl N. Bridgman, Jr. of Memphis, Tenn, Mr. Emory L. Bridgman of Macon, Mr. William G. Bridgman of Rockingham, N.C., and Chaplain Huey Allen Bridgman of Fort Benning, two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Mae Moore and Mrs. Daisy Miller both of Fla., and one brother, Mr. Fred Bridgmean of Akron, Ohio. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
