Thomaston….Funeral services for David Merlin Britt,
54, of 623 Goodrich Ave., were held Thursday at 4
p.m. at the Silvertown Baptist Church with the Rev.
R. B. Card and Dr. David Parker officiating.  Burial
was in Southview Cemetery with Coggins Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Britt died unexpectedly Wednesday morning and
was dead on arrival at the Upson County Hospital.

Mr. Britt was a native of Butts County but had lived
in Upson County for 40 years.  He was an employee in
the twisting Department of B. F. Goodrich Products
Company, Thomaston Division.  ( The rest could not
