Funeral Services for Otis E. Burkett, 61,
Here Friday Afternoon
  
Funeral services for Otis E. Burkett, 61 will be held
Friday morning at 11 o'clock from the Mountain View
Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Montgomery and the rev.
Herbert D. Morgan officiating.  Burial will be in the
Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pasley-
Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Burkett, a retired employee of Thomaston Mills, died
Wednesday at his residence on the Jeff Davis Road
following a heart attack.

The native Upsonian is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florria
Kennedy Burkett; One daughter, Mrs. Jack Pfannkuche;
Three sons, William E., Amos E. And Don Burkett, all of
Thomaston; Five brothers, J.W., Jim, Charlie, Causie and
J.T. Burkett, Jr. all of Thomaston; two sisters, Mrs.
Odessa Ard, Columbus; Miss Vesta Burkett, Thomaston; Five
grandchildren.
