Final rites held September 21, 1985 for Norman F. (Cotton) Burkett
Funeral services for Mr. Norman Felton (Cotton)
Burkett, 53, of Old Alabama road, were held Monday,
September 23, at 2:00 p.m. in Smyrna Baptist Church
with Rev. Ross Minton officiating.  Burial was in
Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.  Coggins
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Burkett was dead on arrival at Upson County
Hospital September 21.  He was a native of Upson
County and a retired auto mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jean Burkett, one
daughter, Mrs. Darlen Anthony, Molena, three sons:
Jimmy Burkett, Stevie Burkett and Stanley Burkett
all of Thomaston, two brothers:  (the rest was
copied so light I could not read it)
