TOM BUTTS DEAD Mr. Thomas P. Butts died Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Frank Ingram, in Jackson. His body was brought to Thomaston and buried Thursday morning. The funeral was held at the home of Mr. J. F. Lewis at 10 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. J. M. Tumlin. The body was laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery . Mr. Butts had been in very poor health for the past several months never having recovered from injuries received last year by being trampled by a mule. The deceased 65 years of age and is survived by his wife and three children, Mr. T. F. Butts, of Moores Crossing, Mrs. John Frank Ingram, of Jackson, and Mrs. Caze Mann, of Griffin. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the community in their hour of sorrow.
