Woman's Death Accidental Suffocation
Final rites for Mrs. Linda Earline Byars, 23, were held
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the East Thomston
Baptist Church with rev. E.C. McDaniel and Rev. Harry P.
Wootan, Jr., officiating. Burial was in Mt. View Cemetery
with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of the
arrangements.

Mrs. Byars died Tuesday morning at her residence at 319
"F" ST. from accidental asphyxiation, according to
Coroner H.P. McManus. The Coroner held an inquest.

The native Upsonian was employed at the Peerless Division
of Thomaston Mills. Survivors include her husband, Gary
E. Byars; One daughter, Kathy Byars; one son, Richard
Byars; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Richard E. Collins; one
sister, Mrs. Sheryl Jones, one Brother, Wesley Collins;
maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Anthony, All of
Thomaston.
