                           LOCAL DEATHS

                              CORLEY

  Mr. Robert Lee Corley, 57 years of age, died Monday night, January 22nd, 
1940, at a private hospital in Atlanta. 
  He is survived by his wife, daughters, Mrs. John J. Cox of Thomaston, Ga, 
and Mrs. Chas F. Minton, Jackson, Ga., sons, Mr. Robert L. Corley, Seaville, 
Fla., and Mr. Wm. J. Corley and Mr. Artis M. Corley, both of Thomaston, 
sisters, Mrs. J. C. Barker, and Mrs. H.L. Duke, both of Thomaston, brothers, 
Mr. Luther Corley and Mr. Alvah Corley, both of Thomaston, and nine grand-
children. 
  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, January 24th, 1940, at 2 
o'clock at the New Hope Baptist Church, Yatesville, Ga. Elder George Goddard 
officiated. Interment was in the New Hope Cemetery.
