Dawson, Ga…The funeral service of William Lewis
Caldwell, 83, who died Monday, 1980,  was conducted
at 2 p.m. Wednesday  at Harvey Funeral Home.
Inerment was in the Chickasawhatchee Cemetery in
Terrell County. 

A native of Pike County, Mr. Caldwell had lived in
Dawson for 58 years.  He was a retired farmer and a
member of the First Assembly of God in Albany.

Survivors include two sons: Ralph of Dawson and
Marvin of Lakeland, a daughter, Mrs. Doris Thaxton
Chambless of Dawson, two brothers:  Raymond  of
Orlando, Fla., and Roy of Thomaston, a sister, Mrs.
Vivian Batchelor of Barnesville, four grandchildren
and six great grandchildren.
