Final rites held for Joseph Lawson Carr, 70
     Funeral services for Joseph Lawson Carr, 70, of Huckaby Road, were held Tuesday, February 12, at 2:00 p.m. in Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.  Rev. Dean Hemphill officiated.  Burial was in Upson Memorial Gardens.
     Mr. Carr died February 10 in Upson County Hospital.  He had resided in Upson County for 53 years and was a retired employee of B. F. Goodrich.
     He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Carr, a daughter, Mrs. Becky Dunn of Thomaston, two sons: Gene of Dublin and Richard of Griffin.  Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren aslo survive.
     Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
